Write for us
Grand Travel Compass welcomes pitches from writers who can make a travel-planning choice clearer, more adaptable or more resourceful. We look for evergreen ideas that readers can use without needing specialist advice, extensive spending or first-hand testing to understand the point.
What we welcome
Pitch clear, self-contained pieces about shaping an itinerary, packing with purpose, finding your way, noticing how places work or developing useful travel habits. A strong contribution has one central question, a distinct angle and a practical takeaway grounded in careful reasoning. Comparisons should explain what changes between options and who might prefer each one.
What to include
Send a working title, a short summary, the main points you would cover and a brief note about relevant experience or perspective. Flag any claims that need verification, commercial interests, proposed images or likely use of AI-generated illustrations. Do not send a finished article unless requested.
How to pitch
Send proposals through the Contact page and choose the editorial question option. Pitches should be original and specific; avoid generic destination lists, unsupported claims and advice that depends on changing local rules. A proposal is not an assignment, and we may not be able to reply to every submission.
